Why PHP Aesthetic-Wellness

Lash Excellence in a Clinical Setting

Working within a CQC-regulated environment on Harley Street, Natasha operates to the highest clinical and infection-control standards in the industry.

This is the difference that sets a PHP lash appointment apart from a high-street salon. Every product used is professional-grade and medically assessed. Every surface is clinically prepared. Every client is treated with the same rigorous attention to detail and individual care that defines everything we do at 22 Harley Street.

“I believe that beauty treatments should meet the same standards of safety and care as any clinical procedure. At PHP, that is not an aspiration — it is the baseline.” Natasha Warren — Medically Qualified Lash Specialist, PHP Aesthetic-Wellness

Aftercare — How to Care for Your Lashes

Correct aftercare is essential to getting the most from your eyelash extensions. Following these guidelines will help your lashes last longer, look better, and protect the health of your natural lashes.

Do not get your lashes wet for 24 hours after application.
Avoid hot steam or saunas for 48 hours after treatment.
Avoid running water directly on your lashes if you want them to last longer.
Do not rub or touch your eyes.
Use water-based eye makeup remover only — oil-based products break down the adhesive bond.
Do not perm your lashes.
Do not use a mechanical eyelash curler on extensions.
Do not pull on your lashes — this can cause natural lash loss.
Gently brush the lashes with a clean spoolie only when necessary.
Avoid touching the extensions when removing makeup from the surrounding area.
Avoid oily products near the eye area, including cleansers, serums, and creams.
Use only specially formulated mascara or eyeliner designed for lash extensions if needed.
Avoid sleeping face-down and using silicone face masks.
Seek only a professional if you want your eyelash extensions removed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are synthetic or natural fibres individually applied to your natural lashes using a semi-permanent adhesive. They enhance the length, volume, and thickness of your natural lashes without mascara.
How long do eyelash extensions last?
Eyelash extensions typically last 4–6 weeks, depending on how well you care for them and the natural growth cycle of your lashes. Regular in-fills every 2–3 weeks maintain the look and fullness of your set.
Are eyelash extensions damaging to natural lashes?
When applied correctly by a trained specialist, eyelash extensions should not damage your natural lashes. Natasha Warren’s medical training means she approaches every set with a thorough understanding of natural lash health — the weight, placement, and adhesive used are always appropriate to your lash condition.
How long does the application process take?
A full set takes between 90 minutes and 3 hours depending on the style. In-fill sessions typically take 60–90 minutes. Full timing details are listed in the price table above.
Why do I need a patch test?
A patch test is a legal requirement for all new clients and for anyone returning after a gap of more than 6 months. It checks for sensitivity to the lash adhesive and must be completed 24–48 hours before your appointment. We will arrange this when you book.
Can I wear makeup to my appointment?
Please arrive with clean eyes — no mascara, eye makeup, or existing lash extensions. We do not work over other technicians’ work. If you arrive with extensions applied elsewhere, a removal charge of £30–£50 will apply, or you may be rebooked if there is insufficient time.
Which style is right for me?
Natasha will discuss your natural lash condition, eye shape, and lifestyle at your appointment and recommend the most flattering and appropriate style. Classic lashes offer a defined, natural look; hybrid and Russian volume sets build progressively towards a fuller, more dramatic result.
Why are lash extensions at PHP different from a high-street salon?
Natasha Warren is a medically qualified beauty specialist working within a CQC-regulated clinical environment at 22 Harley Street. Every appointment meets the highest hygiene and infection-control standards — the same standards that govern every clinical treatment at PHP Aesthetic-Wellness. You are in the hands of a specialist whose training goes well beyond lash technique alone.
