Hyaluronic Acid Reversible Excellence on Harley Street

22 Harley Street· CQC Regulated· Hyaluronic Acid Filler· Dr Philippe Hamida-Pisal· The French Touch

Dermal fillers restore volume, structure, and balance to a face that has changed with age — or simply enhance natural proportion where a patient wants more definition. The goal is always the same: a result that looks like a more refreshed, defined version of you, not a different face.

How Dermal Fillers Work

Dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid — a substance naturally present in the skin, where it holds water and supports volume and hydration. Injected precisely beneath the skin or against the underlying bone, hyaluronic acid filler restores volume that has been lost with age, builds structure and definition where a patient wants more contour, or smooths and softens specific areas of the face.

Unlike Botox®, which works by relaxing muscle activity, filler works by adding volume and structure. The two are frequently used together — filler to restore the underlying architecture of the face, Botox® to soften the dynamic lines layered on top of it — for a more complete result than either treatment alone.

“Filler should restore what time has taken away, or refine what was always there — never create something that looks unfamiliar. The best compliment a patient can receive after treatment is being told they look well, not being asked what they’ve had done.”Dr Philippe Hamida-Pisal, PHP Aesthetic-Wellness

What Dermal Fillers Can Address

Volume loss in the cheeks and mid-face with age
A soft, undefined, or recessed jawline
A weak or receding chin affecting facial balance and profile
Hollowing under the eyes (tear trough)
Asymmetry between the two sides of the face
A desire for more definition or contour than your natural bone structure provides

Treatment Areas

Frequently Asked Questions

Will dermal filler look obvious?
Not with the right technique and a conservative approach. We focus on restoring natural proportion and balance rather than maximum volume, and will always discuss a realistic outcome with you before treatment. Most patients find people notice they look well, not that they have had filler.
Is filler reversible?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase (Hyalase) if a patient is unhappy with a result, whether from treatment elsewhere or at PHP Aesthetic-Wellness. This reversibility is one of the genuine advantages of hyaluronic acid filler over other approaches.
How do I know which area to treat first?
We always recommend starting with a consultation. Dr Philippe or Dr Jihyun Byun will assess your facial structure and proportions as a whole, since volume loss or structure in one area often affects how another area appears, and recommend the treatment plan most likely to achieve genuine balance.
Can filler be combined with Botox®?
Yes — this is a very common and effective combination. Filler restores volume and structure, while Botox® softens the dynamic lines layered on top, addressing both the static and the expression-driven aspects of facial ageing together.
How long does filler last?
Results typically last nine to eighteen months depending on the area treated, the specific product used, and individual factors such as metabolism. Areas with more movement, such as the lips, tend to need more frequent top-ups than less mobile areas like the chin.
