Clinical Expertise — Measured Results — Excellence on Harley Street
Body contouring is not about weight loss. It is about reshaping areas of localised fat, improving skin quality, and refining the silhouette in ways that diet and exercise cannot reliably achieve — without surgery, without general anaesthesia, and without extended recovery time.
Stubborn fat deposits, loss of skin firmness, and changes to body shape following weight fluctuation, pregnancy, or the natural ageing process are among the most common concerns we address in our body treatment clinic. For many patients, these areas remain resistant to even significant lifestyle effort — not because effort is insufficient, but because the distribution and behaviour of subcutaneous fat is substantially governed by genetics, hormones, and individual anatomy.
At PHP Aesthetic-Wellness, body contouring is approached as a medical intervention, not a cosmetic add-on. Dr Philippe Hamida-Pisal and Dr Jihyun Byun assess each patient’s anatomy, tissue quality, and specific goals before designing a protocol. The treatments we use — LPG Endèrmologie, mesotherapy, and enzyme therapy — are non-surgical, clinically evidenced, and selected for their ability to work at the precise tissue level where the concern originates. Results are progressive, measurable, and honest.
“The patients who achieve the most satisfying outcomes from body contouring are those who understand what it is and what it is not. It is a precise, clinical intervention for specific anatomical concerns — not a replacement for healthy living, and not a substitute for surgery in those who genuinely need it.” PHP Aesthetic-Wellness, 22 Harley Street
Areas We Treat
Body contouring at PHP Aesthetic-Wellness addresses localised fat deposits and skin quality concerns across the face and body. Each area has distinct anatomical characteristics that influence which treatments are most appropriate.
Our Body Contouring Treatments
Each treatment works at a different level within the tissue. The most effective body contouring programmes combine two or more modalities, sequenced to address fat, connective tissue, and skin quality in parallel.
LPG Endèrmologie®
LPG Endèrmologie uses a motorised roller-and-suction handpiece to apply a precise mechanical stimulation to the skin and subcutaneous tissue, reactivating the biological processes that govern fat metabolism, collagen production, and lymphatic drainage. The only non-invasive body contouring technology with US FDA clearance for both cellulite reduction and localised circumference reduction, LPG works by stimulating the fibroblasts and adipocytes within the treated tissue rather than destroying them — promoting natural fat release through enhanced lipolysis and improving skin quality simultaneously.
Particularly well suited to patients seeking overall body refinement, improved skin texture, and circumference reduction across multiple areas. Results continue to develop for several weeks after the final session as the stimulated biological response matures.
Learn more →Mesotherapy
A bespoke combination of fat-dissolving and circulation-enhancing compounds — including phosphatidylcholine, L-carnitine, caffeine, and artichoke extract — is delivered via microinjections directly into the subcutaneous fat layer of the target area. The compounds work to emulsify fat cell membranes, stimulate local lipolysis, and improve lymphatic clearance of released fatty acids — producing a measurable local reduction in fat volume and improved tissue tone over a course of treatment.
Mesotherapy is the most precise tool for targeted fat reduction in defined anatomical areas and is particularly effective for smaller, well-localised deposits where a more conservative intervention than surgery is sought. The formula is adapted to the specific area and tissue quality of each patient.
Learn more →Enzyme Therapy
Injectable enzyme formulations — including phospholipase, hyaluronidase, and collagenase-based compounds — target the structural and biochemical components of localised fat and connective tissue directly. Phospholipase disrupts the phospholipid membranes of adipocytes, releasing stored fat for lymphatic clearance. Hyaluronidase disperses accumulated interstitial glycosaminoglycans that contribute to tissue firmness and oedema. Collagenase remodels the fibrotic septa responsible for dimpling and irregular contour.
Enzyme therapy is the most clinically targeted option for resistant, fibrous fat deposits and for areas where connective tissue remodelling is as important as fat reduction. Results are progressive, becoming most apparent six to eight weeks following treatment as the remodelled tissue reorganises.
Learn more →Lymphatic Drainage
Effective fat clearance following mesotherapy and enzyme treatment depends on an efficient lymphatic system to transport released fatty acids and metabolic waste away from the treated area. LPG-assisted lymphatic drainage and manual lymphatic techniques are integrated into body contouring programmes to accelerate this clearance, reduce post-treatment swelling, and improve the rate and consistency of results.
Patients are also advised on home drainage techniques, hydration, and compression garment use to support results between clinic sessions and extend the duration of improvement following the active treatment course.
Is Body Contouring Right for You?
Non-surgical body contouring works best in specific clinical circumstances. Understanding who is and is not an ideal candidate is as important as understanding what the treatments do.
Well Suited
Patients at or near their target body weight with localised fat deposits that persist despite diet and exercise. Those seeking to refine specific areas rather than achieve overall weight reduction. Patients with good general skin quality who want circumference reduction and improved contour.
Requires Discussion
Patients with significant overall weight to lose are better supported by a weight management programme before body contouring. Marked skin laxity following major weight loss may require surgical assessment. We discuss this openly at consultation and refer where appropriate.
Your Body Contouring Journey
A body contouring programme at PHP Aesthetic-Wellness is built around your specific anatomy and goals, reviewed at every stage, and supported with guidance on maintaining results long term.
Body Assessment
A thorough evaluation of target areas, tissue quality, fat distribution, skin laxity, and your goals. Measurements and photographs are taken at the first appointment to allow accurate progress tracking throughout the programme.
Combined Protocol Design
A personalised programme combining the most appropriate modalities for your areas of concern, sequenced to address fat, connective tissue, and skin quality in the most effective order.
Active Treatment Phase
Weekly or twice-weekly sessions during the initial course. Progress is measured at the midpoint and at completion, with the protocol adjusted as results develop and tissue responds.
Maintenance & Results
Monthly maintenance sessions preserve results and prevent the gradual return of treated fat deposits. Home guidance on hydration, activity, and nutrition is provided at the close of the active course.
Related Body Treatments
Body contouring is often combined with or followed by related treatments that address the full picture of body concerns:
Cellulite Reduction
Cellulite is a distinct structural condition that often accompanies localised fat. A dedicated cellulite protocol addresses the fibrous septa and circulatory elements that fat reduction alone does not resolve.
Learn more →Skin Laxity
Reduced skin firmness in contoured areas is addressed with skin booster and regenerative treatments that improve dermal quality and elasticity alongside the contouring result.
Post-Pregnancy Body
A dedicated programme addressing the specific changes of pregnancy: abdominal fat redistribution, diastasis assessment, skin laxity, and stretch marks, as a combined and sequenced treatment plan.
