Cellulite affects approximately 90% of women at some point in their lives. It does not discriminate by age, weight or fitness level — it can appear on athletes, teenagers and women who exercise regularly. And yet it remains one of the most misunderstood conditions in aesthetic medicine.
The market is flooded with creams, scrubs, wraps and gadgets that promise to eliminate it — and deliver nothing. The frustration is real, and it is completely understandable.
At PHP Aesthetic-Wellness, we use LPG Endermologie® — a clinically validated, French-patented technology that is the only non-invasive treatment in the world recognised by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the temporary reduction of cellulite. It has been in continuous clinical use for over 35 years.
“The only non-invasive treatment recognised by the FDA for cellulite reduction. Used in clinical practice for over 35 years worldwide.”
— LPG Endermologie® clinical recordWhat is cellulite — and why is it so hard to treat?
Cellulite is not a fat problem. It is a structural problem. Beneath the skin, fat cells are held within a network of fibrous connective tissue. In women, this network is arranged vertically — which means when fat cells expand, they push upward through the fibres and create the dimpled, uneven appearance we recognise as cellulite.
Three things make cellulite worse over time: poor lymphatic drainage, reduced circulation, and hardening of the connective fibres. This is why topical creams do not work. LPG Endermologie® addresses all three simultaneously.
What is LPG Endermologie®?
LPG Endermologie® is a patented mechanical stimulation technology invented in France by Louis-Paul Guitay in the 1980s. The technology works through a handpiece that gently folds and rolls the skin using motorised rollers and controlled suction — a technique called Mechano-Stimulation. This reactivates the biological activity of skin cells that naturally slow down with age, stimulating collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production from within.
How it works — 3 mechanisms
- Lymphatic drainage: Flushes trapped fluid and toxins from the tissue
- Microcirculation: Increases blood flow delivering oxygen and nutrients to tissue
- Connective tissue release: Loosens hardened fibrous bands that pull skin downward
What it treats
- Cellulite — all grades (mild to severe)
- Localised fat deposits
- Fluid retention and puffiness
- Loose skin after weight loss
- Post-pregnancy body changes
- Loss of facial firmness
- Dull, tired-looking skin
Did you know? LPG Endermologie® also works on the face.
The same technology is used in a specially designed facial handpiece to stimulate collagen and elastin production, lift and firm the facial contour, reduce puffiness and improve skin radiance — entirely naturally, without injections. Many patients combine facial Endermologie® with their injectable treatments to maximise and prolong results.
What to expect at PHP Aesthetic-Wellness
Every LPG Endermologie® treatment begins with a personal consultation with Dr Philippe Hamida-Pisal. Your treatment plan is tailored entirely to you. For the treatment, you wear a specially designed thin bodysuit. The sensation is often described as a deep, warm massage — most patients find it deeply relaxing.
Results — what to realistically expect
LPG Endermologie® delivers real, measurable results over a course of sessions. The majority of patients notice a visible improvement in skin texture and firmness from session five or six. A full course of 10 to 14 sessions produces the most significant results: measurable reduction in cellulite grade, improved skin firmness, and a significant improvement in overall skin radiance.
Monthly maintenance sessions are recommended to sustain results. Most patients incorporate Endermologie® into their regular wellness routine in the same way they would yoga, Pilates or massage.

Is LPG Endermologie® painful?
No. The treatment is generally described as a deep, warm massage. The pressure is adjusted to your comfort throughout. Most patients find it relaxing.
